About Seva Sindhu (e-District)

Seva Sindhu e-District is one of the 31 Mission Mode Projects (MMPs) under the National e-Governance Plan (NeGP). It is implemented by the state government with the Directorate of EDCS as the nodal agency in Karnataka. This initiative focuses on improving the citizen experience and enhancing the operational efficiency of district-level government departments.

The Seva Sindhu portal integrates 346 services from various departments, including 71 national mandatory services and 225 state-selected services. Launched on 26th May 2017, the pilot project included 29 certificate services from the Revenue Department. Since then, over 1,12,000 transactions have been successfully completed, and more than 1,00,000 certificates have been issued to citizens through the portal.

Additional services from departments like Food and Civil Supplies, Drugs Control, Health and Family Welfare, and Planning have also been incorporated into the Seva Sindhu service plus platform, making it a comprehensive solution for government service delivery.
